Alpen Retreat Reflections

One week ago, upon arrival in the magical Austrian Alps, I set an intention to be present.

We earthed, barefoot amongst the wildflowers, soaked in positive ions at altitude... Cleansed ourselves in the sparkling turquoise waters of alpine lakes... Burned off elements that were no longer serving us in ritual fires... And sent prayers into the fresh air to be absorbed, and answered, by the universe.

l am wildly inspired by the power of the mountains, and the trust of open-hearted souls who joined us on this extraordinary ceremony of rebirth – surrendering the past, revelling in the present, mapping the future – in divine nature.

I am joyfully overflowing with gratitude… To walk this walk with my soulmate and partner in all, the brilliant, beautiful, passionate leader Richard Husseiny. To have joined forces with shamanic rockstar Melany Coopmans Vizithum. And that we got to share our world with Stella, and my beloved parents.

I am confident in, grateful for, uplifted by the presence I was blessed to practice over the last seven days. I feel whole. I feel magic. As I write, I’m gazing out the airplane window. Below, clouds merge with snowcapped peaks. Above, my heart is full and my mind is free.
